Duty to Report

All faculty members, managers and supervisors, including rectors and assistant rectors, who receive complaints or otherwise become aware of sexual or discriminatory harassment are required to take action on the matter. If a faculty member, manager, supervisor, rector or assistant rector observes behavior which appears to be in violation of this policy, the person observing the behavior should either report it immediately or inquire with the individual(s) involved to determine whether the conduct observed was offensive and unwelcome; if so, the matter should be reported. Faculty members, managers and supervisors, including rectors and assistant rectors, represent the University and have a duty to report sexual or discriminatory harassment so that appropriate action can be taken to investigate and stop such behavior. A failure to report such information will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination or dismissal.
